Alive West Norfolk has partnered up with the Norfolk Assistance Scheme (NAS) and Active Norfolk. They’re are offering three months free membership to Alive West Norfolk centres to those on a low income and aged 16+ who are struggling with their mental health and/or are feeling socially isolated. They are also able to provide a £50 voucher to help towards appropriate fitness clothing/footwear.
This project is running between now and 31st March 2022. Please note, funding is limited and memberships will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
The free membership covers gym, swimming and classes and it can be used at all Alive West Norfolk centres – Alive Lynnsport, Alive St James, Alive Downham and Alive Oasis (Hunstanton). Application is via the Norfolk Assistance Scheme (NAS). The fastest way to apply is online at www.norfolk.gov.uk/NAS. To apply, select the ‘personal items’ options and request access to the free gym membership and clothing. NAS will call back all applicants to discuss their application and will take it from there. If an individual does not have internet access, they can call 0344 800 8020 to request a call back.
